    Default royal poo.

I'm sorry if this is stupid question, but to be honest, I'd rather get laughed at than to not ask and it turn out to be something nasty..
My hatchling royal crapped the other day, but there were only urates, (white crumbly bits)...My corns never done this, it's always been both. I'm just wondering, is this normal or should I give Ozzy a lukewarm bath?

The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask :)

My royal has always done both at once. How long ago was he fed? I've found that mine takes a while to digest and pass his food, a lot longer than my corns.
Have you checked to make sure that the poo maybe isn't hidden under substrate etc?

Hopefully some more experienced royal keepers can help more.

I did check that the poo isn't hidden, using my nose as well as my eyes. He's was fed about four-five days before that. He's on kitchen roll at the moment, so there's not many places he could have hid it, bar his moss hide, and I've checked that.
    Thanks though mate =)

The smell is usually a good giveaway lol, I can tell when mine has done it as soon as I go into the room. Always in his moss hide and he seems to time it so I'm out for a few hours to give it plenty of time to heat up lol.

See, I seem to have been spared the horrible smell so far that other royal keepers tell me about, lol, though I suspect that's only since Ozzy is tiny >.>

Haha yeah it's not the nicest aroma, wait til he gets a bit bigger! My royal is still relatively small but once it's been sitting in the moss hide for a bit.....nice!

Some of mine does both, some do one at a time... but all hide their poo, normally near the heat source... not a very pleasant smell when you walk in the room!! Click here to enlarge lol

Sorry I ment to post this sooner.

If its a hatchling i'm assuming a diet of pinkies or fuzzies, these are basically pure protein and will mostly be absorbed as nutrients upon digestion. Its good that you're vigilant and have him on paper towel, hopefully you will see brown in the poo shortly.

He just poo-ed today and I'm slightly worried. It came out as a yellowish urate nugget and the rest was enough stinking liquid to soak that whole half of his faunarium..
I'm just wondering, is that normal? Also, he's on small mice, (labelled in my local shop, they're the first size of mouse that have proper fur rather than fuzz) if that helps.
