I just want to say that this is one of the best reptile shops I have been to in a long time. The people are both friendly and knowledgeable. The stock is wide and varied, all in great condition and kept to a very high standard.

A coffee is always forthcoming and a behind the scenes tour is often offered too.

I wish it were closer and could be my first port of call.

    Highly recommended

I was in there on Saturday, put a deposit on an Anery Corn Baby which should be coming home in a month or so :)

The young chap who was talking to me was very patient as im a newbie to snakes, but also wasnt interested in making a quick sale as he suggested waiting for the babies they have growing out in the rear of the shop over just taking one of the Aztec or Lilac coloured corns they had ready.

As mentioned above a coffee was also offered :)

On a side note, DONT go anywhere near the place if you have a passion for reptiles as it could be expensive.....some lovely Bearded Dragons, Snakes, Chameleons............etc etc etc....

Serpentus Exotics in Dunfermline is a great place to go.

They really know their stuff and the animals are all well looked after.

They've got a massive variety. Some of the stuff they have at the moment are a few cresties, loads of leos all different morphs and ages, gargoyle geckos, loads of corns, chameleons, skinks and lots of different types of snakes that I can't name as I'm not good with snakes lol, more of a lizard person.

Anyway the people that work there are always happy to help and give great advice and the owner, Ryan, really knows his stuff.

Prices are reasonable and nothing is over priced.

Best reptile shop I have ever been to
3.3 Leopard Geckos (Albino's x2, Hpyo, SHCT, Blizzard & Jungle Mack Snow)
    1.1.2 Gehyra Marginata
    0.1 Macklots Python

4.11 Mice (Breeding for food, pets or to start your own breeding colony. PM for more details)
Loads of Mice now available pm for details.

    Hello!

We've been buying all our supplies from them for a year now. We've also bought two of our corn snakes there, they're both lovely and healthy and now just under a year old. In fact, we did not actually want to buy but that amel one just charmed me with her cute eyes!

I have to agree with the above messages of support for Serpentus, I think it is the first social petshop I've ever been to, and a refreshing change to the usual. This is the first pet/reptile shop I've been to in Scotland, and not only was I offered a cuppa every time I've visited but I even got offered a toastie!

Having only started with reptiles this summer I have found Serpentus to be second to none. They all make you feel invaluable and you don't feel stupid when asking questions. Have given me loads of advice and help also lots of cuppas lol. Whether you go in for a tub of live food or to buy a full set-up there is never any hurry. Other shops should take a leaf out of their book. 1st class people would reccommend to anyone. Ta much Ryan, nikki, kelly, callum and gregg for looking after me

    Default amazing shop

just wanted to add:when you buy a reptile from them, its the only shop i know that gives you both the owners mobile numbers so they can be contacted out with shop opening hours with any questions or worries you may have.the day i bought my first snake i'll always remember nikki saying remember no question is to stupid.its really comforting knowing you and your reptile have such amazing after care unlike most shops who are only interested in your cash.

wow unfortunetly seprentus is too far away. Rintouls just close enough and is really good, but no tea or coffee. I must say tho in all the thosands i've spent i've only amassed one can of coke from a pet shop.lol

I get on alright with the guys at neon gecko, but i only buy bugs and supplies, for some reptiles they are a bit dear.

Also found place amazing. Soon as we walked in the door we were asked where we'd come from and if we wanted a cuppa. Stock was well laid out and clean, definitely quality over quantity. Even showed me the breeding rooms out back and had an excellent chat about royal breeding etc. Genuinely nice, knowledgable owners and would recommend the shop to anyone, its well worth the travel.
