    Default Chameleon SETUP question!

    Hi there...

got a wee question about a chameleons setup, as i am starting now to save up and buy everything ill need for a chameleon!!

ive got a few plants that im putting it for deffo! (already checked if there safe and they are... they were just lying about the house lol)

my question is.... will i need a dripper, if ive got a fogger in the viv??

or will the fogger be enough?

(i can also spray i guess cant i, as long as i dont spray the cham itself!!

if anyone knows plz feel free to tell me :P...

and could ppl also post pics of there cham viv, so i can see what there like!!

    cheers

A dripper is a great idea and cheap to make,so please use one. What plants are you using? My chameleon is perfectly happy being sprayed as long as the spray is set a fine mist and is quite warm.

I will post a pic of my chams flexi tomorrow for you.

yeah but the waterfalls are WAY too expensive for what they are...

and you dont NEED them... as long as the leaves and that have water on them then its fine!!

and yeah fiscus would be nice, but i dont think ill have any room for anything else tbh!! :P

70 pounds is quite expensive for a baby Yemen.I would expect to pay 30-50 from a breeder depending on age.

Regards plants,I found ficus to die slowly due to lack of light, they need a LOT of it to grow so if you want one or of any of your other plants are the type that require good window light then consider a specific bulb in the viv for them.

I forgot to take pictures today,I'll get it done tomorrow I promise lol

    awsome!!

well i think im actually sorted anyways...

just one last thing to get, and thats making me a wee dripper... but all i need is the 5mm PVC tubes i think!!

ive got loads of fake plants, vines, real plants, ropes, branches, logs, a wee waterfall, making a dripper, got a fogger on the way, along with another stat, hygrometer and loads of other things...

so heres hoping it all goes ok!!
